Uncle Michael’s Cottage was originally a family farm house, built in late 1800’s. Uncle Michael lived there until 1992. The property has recently been restored to its original glory and is now a modern holiday home decorated to the highest standards whilst still retaining many of its original features. The external stone walls which have been retained from the original build blend beautifully with the new. It is fully equipped for all your needs to enjoy the perfect break. So if you are planning a family holiday, a weekend away or an activity break, Uncle Michael’s Cottage is a perfect location for you to experience all that this area has to offer.

Nestled away in the townland of Correvan, on the outskirts of the village of Blacklion Co. Cavan (approx. 4 miles) this charming cottage is ideally located for you to explore counties Leitrim, Cavan, Fermanagh, Donegal and Sligo. Overlooking the beautiful Lough MacNean, the cottage boasts magnificent views of the lake and mountains. Blacklion village is home to the famous award-winning MacNean House Restaurant owned by top chef Neven Maguire, who has put Blacklion on the map. Blacklion/Belcoo is well serviced with local shops, supermarket, Pharmacy, Butcher, Hairdressers, Beauty Salon and a good selection of pubs. The village of Glenfarne with a shop, post office, restaurant and 2 pubs is only 1 mile away.
